State Bank of India gets gvernment nominated director

State Bank of India has announced that the bank advise that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of Section 19 of the State Bank of India Act, 1955 (23 of 1955), the Central Government, vide its notification No. 7/2/2012-BO-l dated 01 April 2014, has nominated Gurdial Singh Sandhu, Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, to be a Director on the Central Board of Directors of State Bank of India with immediate effect and until further orders vice Rajiv Takru.
