Steel Authority of India Ltd lost 2.91% today to trade at Rs 35. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 1.49% to quote at 8402.91. The index is down 9.41 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd decreased 2.87% and National Aluminium Company Ltd lost 2.75% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 25.04 % over last one year compared to the 5.82% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
