Steel Authority of India Ltd Spikes 3.72%, S&P BSE Metal index Rises 2%

Steel Authority of India Ltd has added 6.3% over last one month compared to 5.92% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 7.85% rise in the SENSEX

Steel Authority of India Ltd rose 3.72% today to trade at Rs 55.7. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 2% to quote at 11582.56. The index is up 5.92 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Vedanta Ltd increased 3.67% and National Aluminium Company Ltd added 2.98% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 13.06 % over last one year compared to the 17.98% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

 

Steel Authority of India Ltd has added 6.3% over last one month compared to 5.92% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 7.85% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 1.28 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 24.43 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 91.1 on 13 Jun 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 44.1 on 11 Feb 2019.
