Steel Strips Wheels achieved total wheel rim sales of 12.25 lakhs in March 2016 compared to 11.16 lakh in March 2015, representing a growth of 10%.In terms of value, the company has achieved gross turnover of Rs 127.48 crore in March 2016 compared to Rs 117.70 crore in March 2015. Net turnover stood at Rs 115.08 crore in March 2016 compared to Rs 105.8 crore in March 2015. The sales values are not strictly comparable due to RM reduction impact of 20% in December 2015 else the sales values would have been higher than reported above.
Export orders surged 46% in March 2016 on back of robust order book build up from the European region.
