Sterlite Technologies Ltd rose 5.15% today to trade at Rs 201.2. The S&P BSE Telecom index is up 1% to quote at 1022.45. The index is down 2.64 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Reliance Communications Ltd increased 4.59% and Tata Communications Ltd added 1.44% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went down 19.42 % over last one year compared to the 10.04% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
