Sukhjit Starch & Chemicals standalone net profit rises 40.34% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 14.58% to Rs 148.37 crore

Net profit of Sukhjit Starch & Chemicals rose 40.34% to Rs 5.01 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 3.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 14.58% to Rs 148.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 129.49 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 0.65% to Rs 23.05 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 23.20 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 6.28% to Rs 565.88 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 532.45 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
