Sunteck Realty rose 1.8% to Rs 330.15 at 09:41 IST on BSE after a bulk deal of 6.06 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 329.50 per share in opening trade on BSE.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 14.76 points, or 0.05%, to 32,404.72. The BSE Mid-cap index was up 39.67 points, or 0.25%, to 16,116.09.
Bulk deal boosted volume on the scrip. On the BSE, so far 10.89 lakh shares were traded in the counter, compared with average daily volumes of 78,450 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 340.85 in intraday trade so far, which is 52-week high for the counter. The stock hit a low of Rs 317 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 86.98 on 22 November 2016.
The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 12.60 crore. Face value per share is Re 1.
Sunteck Realty's consolidated net profit dropped 38.51% to Rs 39.65 crore on 74.36% fall in total income to Rs 135.45 crore in Q1 June 2017 over Q1 June 2016.
