Surya Roshni shines after winning order

Surya Roshni rose 1.29% to Rs 220.50 at 15:15 IST on BSE after the company said it received a Rs 58.39 crore order for LED battens from EESL through competitive e-bidding.

The announcement was made during market hours today, 9 July 2019.

Meanwhile, S&P BSE Sensex was up 42.66 points or 0.11% at 38,763.23.

On BSE, 16,000 shares were traded in Surya Roshni counter, compared to a 2-week average of 16,000 shares. The share price hit an intraday high of Rs 223.25 and an intraday low of Rs 212.35. It hit a 52-week high of Rs 363.90 on 9 August 2018 and a 52-week low of Rs 185.05 on 10 December 2018.

 

Surya Roshni said it will supply three million integrated (linear) LED battens to Energy Efficiency Services (EESL). The order is expected to be executed within 4 months.

Surya Roshni's net profit rose 19.2% to Rs 44.11 crore on a 19.7% increase in net sales to Rs 1,706.49 crore in Q4 March 2019 over Q4 March 2018.

Surya Roshni makes LED lights, conventional lights and fans and home appliances.
