Symphony jumped 8.57% to Rs 375 at 9:47 IST on BSE after net profit galloped 598.5% to Rs 14.32 crore on 196.5% growth in net sales to Rs 72.08 crore in Q1 September 2013 over Q1 September 2012.
The Q1 result was announced after market hours on Tuesday, 29 October 2013.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 70.43 points or 0.34% at 20,999.44.
On BSE, 12,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 4,072 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 396.90 and a low of Rs 396.90 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 414.70 on 12 March 2013. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 270 on 30 August 2013.
