Tata Motors Ltd lost 5.21% today to trade at Rs 180.1. The S&P BSE Auto index is down 1.36% to quote at 18724.42. The index is down 7.31 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Bharat Forge Ltd decreased 4.33% and Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd lost 3.26% on the day. The S&P BSE Auto index went down 21.59 % over last one year compared to the 13.66% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
Tata Motors Ltd has lost 23.65% over last one month compared to 7.31% fall in S&P BSE Auto index and 0.53% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 7.72 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 18.26 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 317 on 23 May 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 141.9 on 08 Feb 2019.
