Turnover on NSE's F&O segment drops
The Nifty October 2017 futures traded at 10036, a premium of 19.05 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10016.95 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment dropped to Rs 3.65 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 3.71 lakh crore registered yesterday, 9 October 2017.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 28.20 points or 0.28% to settle at 10,016.95, its highest closing level since 21 September 2017.
Tata Steel, Reliance Industries (RIL), Biocon, Infosys and Vedanta were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Tata Steel October 2017 futures traded at 694.60, at a premium over spot closing of 691.50. RIL October 2017 futures traded at 844.70, at a premium over spot closing of 842.25.
Biocon October 2017 futures traded at 370.35, at a premium over spot closing of 368.60. Infosys October 2017 futures traded at 937.30, at a premium over spot closing of 935.15. Vedanta October 2017 futures traded at 322.50, at a premium over spot closing of 321.
