Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd rose 8.97% today to trade at Rs 4.13. The S&P BSE Telecom index is up 1.2% to quote at 1024.86. The index is up 4.97 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Optiemus Infracom Ltd increased 3.06% and Vodafone Idea Ltd added 3.01% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went down 15.03 % over last one year compared to the 13.25% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

On the BSE, 2.45 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 2.32 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 5.87 on 27 Jul 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 2.55 on 14 May 2019.
