TD Power Systems advanced 2.81% to Rs 296.10 at 9:51 IST on BSE after the company secured an order from a large multinational company in Europe to supply multiple units of 10 megawatts generators to be installed in a single power plant inside Germany

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 172.47 points or 0.66% at 26,046.44
On BSE, so far 680 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 7,503 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 299.30 and a low of Rs 291.60 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 478.80 on 30 December 2014. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 261 on 24 August 2015.

TD Power Systems said that the company has received an order from a large multinational company in Europe to supply multiple units of 10 megawatts (MW) generators to be installed in a single power plant inside Germany. The total installed capacity will be 200 MW.
TD Power Systems said that the supply will start from July 2016 and completed by November 2016. This will be the biggest installation for the company inside Germany, TD Power Systems said. With this contract the company affirms its position as a leading global generator manufacturer with its generators catering to power supply in some of the most competitive markets of the world, the company said. This large installation reference will open the doors to other European customers in the years to come, it said.
Separately, TD Power Systems said that B. C. Harish, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company's wholly-owned subsidiary - DF Power Systems (DFPS) has resigned and has been relieved from the services of the company with effect from the close of business hours on 15 September 2015.
On a consolidated basis, TD Power Systems reported net loss of Rs 4.67 crore in Q1 June 2015, lower than net loss of Rs 9.24 crore in Q1 June 2014. Total income rose 11.2% to Rs 103.88 crore in Q1 June 2015 over Q1 June 2014.
