Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises
The April 2017 futures on the Nifty 50 index traded at 9,282.60, at a premium of 17.45 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 9,265.15 in the cash market. Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 3.56 lakh crore from Rs 2.55 lakh crore registered during previous trading session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 27.30 points or 0.3% to settle at 9,265.15, a record closing high.
Reliance Industries (RIL), Maruti Suzuki India, State Bank of India (SBI), L&T and Yes Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
RIL April 2017 futures traded at 1,417.30, at a premium over spot closing of 1,415.05. Maruti Suzuki India April 2017 futures traded at 6,343.50, at a premium over spot closing of 6,335. SBI April 2017 futures traded at 298.05, at a premium over closing of 297.
L&T April 2017 futures traded at 1,697, at a premium compared with spot closing of 1,693. Yes Bank April 2017 futures traded at 1,575.20, at a premium over spot closing of 1,566.50.
