TRF jumps as net loss narrows in Q4

TRF surged 12.05% to Rs 318 at 11:14 IST on BSE after the company's consolidated net loss narrowed to Rs 2.04 crore in Q4 March 2016, compared with net loss of Rs 70.16 crore in Q4 March 2015.

The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 16 May 2016.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 113.72 points or 0.44% at 25,766.95.

On BSE, so far 62,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 24,005 shares in the past one quarter. The stock hit a high of Rs 325.20 and a low of Rs 314 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 491 on 16 July 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 183.30 on 4 September 2015. The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 16 May 2016, sliding 7.13% compared with the Sensex's 0.1% rise. The scrip had, however, outperformed the market in past one quarter, advancing 11.56% as against Sensex's 10.61% rise.

 

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 11 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

TRF's net sales rose 33.8% to Rs 432.45 crore in Q4 March 2016 over Q4 March 2015.

TRF is a pioneer in solutions for material handling equipment and processing systems required in the infrastructure development. TRF has also diversified into automotive applications business.
