Nifty October 2013 futures at premium
Nifty October 2013 futures were at 6205.25, at a premium of 15.90 points over spot closing of 6189.35. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment jumped to Rs 167557.55 crore from Rs 141081.21 crore on Thursday, 17 October 2013.
TCS October 2013 futures were at 2125, near spot closing of 2119.
Axis Bank October 2013 futures were at 1161.05, near spot closing of 1157.15.
Tata Steel October 2013 futures were at 330.10, near spot closing of 329.
In the spot market, the CNX Nifty rose 143.50 points or 2.37% to settle at 6,189.35, its highest closing level since 11 November 2010.
The October 2013 derivatives contracts expire on 31 October 2013.
