Turnover on NSE's F&O segment declines

Nifty June 2017 futures at premium

The Nifty June 2017 futures traded at 9613.30, a premium of 6.40 points compared with the Nifty's closing of 9606.90 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 3.21 lakh crore from turnover of Rs 3.31 lakh crore registered yesterday, 12 June 2017.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 9.50 points or 0.10% to settle at 9,606.90, its lowest closing level since 1 June 2017.

CEAT, Tata Steel, Maruti Suzuki India, Vedanta and Apollo Tyres were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. CEAT June 2017 futures traded at 1834, at a discount over spot closing of 1846. Tata Steel June 2017 futures traded at 508.50, at a premium over spot closing of 508.

 

Maruti Suzuki India June 2017 futures traded at 7381.85, at a premium over spot closing of 7342. Vedanta June 2017 futures traded at 239.10, at a premium over spot closing of 238.30. Apollo Tyres June 2017 futures traded at 252.80, at a discount over spot closing of 254.75.

The June 2017 F&O contracts will expire on 29 June 2017.
