Turnover on NSE's F&O segment increases

Nifty May futures at premium

The Nifty May 2018 futures traded at 10,555, a premium of 18.30 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10536.70 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 7.02 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 6.35 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 20 points or 0.19% to settle at 10,536.70.

State Bank of India, Ashok Leyland and Bajaj Finance were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

 

State Bank of India May 2018 futures traded at 255.90, at a premium over spot closing price of 255.70. Ashok Leyland May 2018 futures traded at 142.25, at a premium over spot closing price of 141.55. Bajaj Finance May 2018 futures traded at 2156.15, at a premium over spot closing price of 2146.

The May 2018 F&O contracts expire on 31 May 2018.
