Nifty June futures at premium
The Nifty June 2018 futures traded at 10690, a premium of 5.35 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10684.65 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment jumped to Rs 8.29 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 6.15 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 91.50 points or 0.86% to settle at 10,684.65.
Bajaj Finance, State Bank of India and HDFC Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Bajaj Finance June 2018 futures traded at 2176.10, at a premium over spot closing price of 2168.25. State Bank of India June 2018 futures traded at 270.70, at a premium over spot closing price of 270.25. HDFC Bank June 2018 futures traded at 2052, at a discount over spot closing price of 2057.40.
The June 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 28 June 2018.
