Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises

Nifty November futures trade at premium

The Nifty November 2017 futures traded at 10479, a premium of 27.20 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10451.80 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 4 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 3.82 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index lost 0.70 point or 0.01% to settle at 10,451.80, its lowest closing level since 2 November 2017.

Titan Company, Tata Motors, State Bank of India (SBI), Dewan Housing Finance (DHFL) and Tata Steel were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Titan Company November 2017 futures traded at 784, at a premium over spot closing of 780. Tata Motors November 2017 futures traded at 459.90, at a premium over spot closing of 457.90.

 

SBI November 2017 futures traded at 327.80, at a small discount compared with spot closing of 328. DHFL November 2017 futures traded at 645.85, at a premium over spot closing of 641.45. Tata Steel November 2017 futures traded at 709.35, at a premium over spot closing of 704.50.

The November 2017 F&O contracts expire on 30 November 2017.
