Among the other constituents of the index, Bajaj Auto Ltd decreased 3.83% and Hero MotoCorp Ltd lost 3.17% on the day. The S&P BSE Auto index went down 34.78 % over last one year compared to the 1.27% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
