Ultramarine & Pigments announced that surfactants plant in
Ranipet was restarted on 07 April as an essential service in the manufacture of cleaning products, the pigments plant at Ranipet was reopened on 19 April, and the pigments plant in Chennai was reopened on 20 April, all with minimal workforce. All rules regarding
sanitisation, disinfection and social distancing will be followed at the plants.
