Sales decline 36.53% to Rs 262.79 crore
Net loss of Uttam Sugar Mills reported to Rs 29.32 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against net profit of Rs 61.55 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 36.53% to Rs 262.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 414.03 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.For the full year,net profit declined 84.05% to Rs 17.00 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 106.58 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 14.57% to Rs 1243.48 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1085.38 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
