V2 Retail attracts buyers after opening new store

V2 Retail gained 1.9% to Rs 426.75 at 13:50 IST on BSE after the company announced opening of one operational retail store of company at Roorkee, Uttarakhand.

The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 13 September 2017.

The company said that currently 41 retail stores are operational.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 1 point at 32,187.41. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index advanced 84.45 points or 0.51% at 16,604.01.

On the BSE, 92,778 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 70,719 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 433.95 and a low of Rs 410 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 479.45 on 12 September 2017 and a 52-week low of Rs 92.50 on 14 September 2016.

 

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 30.92 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

V2 Retail's net profit rose 85.5% to Rs 8.68 crore on 31.5% growth in net sales to Rs 142.26 crore in Q1 June 2017 over Q1 June 2016.

V2 Retail is one of the fastest growing retail groups in India.
