Vardhman Textiles standalone net profit declines 15.81% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales decline 5.45% to Rs 1417.25 crore

Net profit of Vardhman Textiles declined 15.81% to Rs 159.06 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 188.92 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 5.45% to Rs 1417.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 1498.98 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 45.51% to Rs 545.76 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1001.59 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 2.82% to Rs 5851.37 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 5690.95 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
