Vedanta Ltd Slides 3.85%, S&P BSE Metal index Drops 1%

Vedanta Ltd has lost 2.74% over last one month compared to 5.02% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 7.32% rise in the SENSEX

Vedanta Ltd lost 3.85% today to trade at Rs 323.25. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 1% to quote at 20140.91. The index is up 5.02 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Steel Authority of India Ltd decreased 1.52% and NMDC Ltd lost 1.03% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 63.14 % over last one year compared to the 24.78% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Vedanta Ltd has lost 2.74% over last one month compared to 5.02% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 7.32% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 3.35 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 3.91 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 385.75 on 19 Oct 2021. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 160.2 on 28 Jan 2021.
