Vedanta Ltd Slips 2.56%, S&P BSE Metal index Shed 1.27%

Vedanta Ltd has lost 14.05% over last one month compared to 14.24% fall in S&P BSE Metal index and 6.3% drop in the SENSEX

Vedanta Ltd fell 2.56% today to trade at Rs 150.2. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 1.27% to quote at 9562.87. The index is down 14.24 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd decreased 2.26% and Hindalco Industries Ltd lost 1.89% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 23.99 % over last one year compared to the 0.57% fall in benchmark SENSEX.

Vedanta Ltd has lost 14.05% over last one month compared to 14.24% fall in S&P BSE Metal index and 6.3% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 1.51 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 5.75 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 246.9 on 03 Oct 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 145.9 on 15 Feb 2019.
