Net profit of Vedanta rose 576.62% to Rs 3882.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 573.79 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 3.00% to Rs 7777.96 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 8018.35 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.For the full year,net profit rose 183.93% to Rs 5471.88 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1927.20 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 8.32% to Rs 29680.01 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 32372.84 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
