Venky's (India) advanced 1.81% to Rs 3,433.30 at 15:08 IST on BSE, with the stock extending recent stellar rally.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 81.69 points or 0.24% at 34,364.06. The S&P BSE Mid-Cap index declined 0.47%, underperforming the Sensex.

On the BSE, 45,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against average daily volumes of 16,003 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 3,470 so far during the day, which is a record high. The stock hit a low of Rs 3,280.50 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 781 on 20 March 2017.

 

The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 14.09 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

Shares of Venky's (India) have rallied 28.43% in five trading sessions to its ruling price, from its closing of Rs 2,673.20 on 20 February 2018.

Venky's (India)'s net profit rose 66.4% to Rs 69.42 crore on 12.7% growth in net sales to Rs 695.85 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.
