Videocon Industries leads gainers in 'A' group

Diversified company Videocon Industries surged 12.22% to Rs 238.80. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 246.25 in intraday today, 3 December 2012.

Credit rating firm Crisil spurted 10.39% to Rs 1060.75. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. Shares of ratings agencies were in demand today, 3 December 2012, ahead of the initial public offering (IPO) of CARE Ratings that opens on Friday, 7 December 2012. CARE Ratings will offer about 71.99 lakh equity shares of face value Rs 10 each in a price band of Rs 700 to Rs 750 per share. The IPO closes on 11 December 2012.

 

Organised retailer Pantaloon Retail (India) jumped 9.65% to Rs 230.75. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 234.25 in intraday today, 3 December 2012.

Commodity trading company Adani Enterprises rose 8.15% to Rs 259.35. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Micro-irrigation products maker Jain Irrigation Systems rose 5.90% to Rs 71.75. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
