VIP Industries dropped 0.98% to Rs 75.90 at 14:40 IST on BSE, with the stock extending recent losses.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 564.37 points or 2.19% at 25,200.41.
On BSE, so far 14,701 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 69,456 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a low of Rs 74.20 so far during the day, which is also a 52-week low for the stock. The stock hit a high of Rs 77.20 in intraday trade. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 129.60 on 28 January 2015.
Shares of VIP Industries skidded 7.55% in six trading sessions to its current ruling price at Rs 75.90, from a recent high of Rs 82.10 on 27 August 2015.
