Volumes jump at Bajaj Electricals counter

Colgate-Palmolive (India), Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, Karnataka Bank and Sintex Industries are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 15 October 2013.

Bajaj Electricals clocked volume of 3.75 lakh shares by 12:51 IST on BSE, a 22.28-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 17,000 shares. The stock rose 1.43% to Rs 163.55.

Colgate-Palmolive (India) notched up volume of 1.21 lakh shares, a 7.56-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 16,000 shares. The stock rose 0.42% to Rs 1,234.20.

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone saw volume of 11.21 lakh shares, a 4.87-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.30 lakh shares. The stock rose 0.33% to Rs 151.35.

 

Karnataka Bank clocked volume of 18.37 lakh shares, a 3.88-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4.73 lakh shares. The stock fell 3.81% to Rs 104.75.

Sintex Industries saw volume of 20.23 lakh shares, a 2.84-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 7.13 lakh shares. The stock fell 1.36% to Rs 25.35.
