Carborundum Universal clocked volume of 8.25 lakh shares by 13:56 IST on BSE, a 73.68 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 11,000 shares. The stock rose 0.58% at Rs 180.95.
Blue Dart Express notched up volume of 9,000 shares, a 28.08-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 327 shares. The stock rose 3.44% at Rs 6,470.
International Paper APPM saw volume of 2.34 lakh shares, a 20.69-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 11,000 shares. The stock surged 17.94% at Rs 270.90.
InterGlobe Aviation clocked volume of 13.74 lakh shares, a 6.39-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.15 lakh shares. The stock tumbled 18.23% at Rs 979.25 after the company's management in a post-result conference call reportedly said it may miss target of taking up 111 aircraft in the current financial year after delay in delivery of Airbus A320 neo aircraft.
InterGlobe Aviation's net profit rose 23.7% to Rs 657.28 crore on 11.9% growth in revenue to Rs 4407.49 crore in Q3 December 2015 over Q3 December 2014. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 21 January 2016.
