Cummins India clocked volume of 3.69 lakh shares by 12:52 IST on BSE, a 16.94-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 22,000 shares. The stock rose 0.49% to Rs 402.10.
Bata India notched up volume of 6.68 lakh shares, a 15.89-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 42,000 shares. The stock rose rose 2.16% to Rs 935.30.
Videocon Industries saw volume of 8.08 lakh shares, a 13.29-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 61,000 shares. The stock was flat at Rs 172.
Ashok Leyland clocked volume of 1.30 crore shares, a 9.89-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 13.22 lakh shares. The stock fell 3.40% to Rs 15.65.
Britannia Industries saw volume of 1.18 lakh shares, a 7.99-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 15,000 shares. The stock rose 4.22% to Rs 913.
