GRUH Finance notched up volume of 7.66 lakh shares, a 51.25-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 15,000 shares. The stock rose 2.35% to Rs 220.
Federal Bank saw volume of 24.87 lakh shares, a 12.32-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.02 lakh shares. The stock surged 10.72% to Rs 79 after net profit rose 4.97% to Rs 225.81 crore on 11.57% growth in total income to Rs 1857.84 crore in Q2 September 2013 over Q2 September 2012. The stock lost 0.43% at Rs 1,955 after net profit fell 52% to Rs 264 crore on 4.19% decline in net sales to Rs 4502 crore in Q2 September 2013 over Q2 September 2012. Ambuja Cements saw volume of 4.30 lakh shares, a 4.31-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 1 lakh shares. The stock rose 1.74% to Rs 201.40.
