Volumes jump at HCL Technologies counter

Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation, Amara Raja Batteries, Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals and HCL Infosystems are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 9 March 2015.

HCL Technologies clocked volume of 59.89 lakh shares by 13:27 IST on BSE, a 143.62-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 42,000 shares. The stock fell 0.17% to Rs 2,061.15.

Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation notched up volume of 5.73 lakh shares, a 5.67-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.01 lakh shares. The stock rose 7.81% to Rs 513.

Amara Raja Batteries saw volume of 79,000 shares, a 5.04-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 16,000 shares. The stock fell 3.36% to Rs 872.10.

 

Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals clocked volume of 4.28 lakh shares, a 3.39-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.26 lakh shares. The stock rose 4.54% to Rs 166.90.

HCL Infosystems saw volume of 27.03 lakh shares, a 3.38-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 8 lakh shares. The stock rose 3.21% to Rs 59.45.
