Hindustan Media Ventures clocked volume of 3.02 lakh shares by 13:54 IST on BSE, a 128.55 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,352 shares. The stock rose 3.31% at Rs 224.70.
Cera Sanitaryware notched up volume of 56,000 shares, a 98.82-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 563 shares. The stock gained 0.94% at Rs 2,000.
Videocon Industries saw volume of 5.08 lakh shares, a 19.58-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 26,000 shares. The stock advanced 0.41% at Rs 136.35.
Godrej Consumer Products clocked volume of 6.69 lakh shares, a 14.36-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 47,000 shares. The stock fell 1.84% at Rs 1,176.50.
L&T Finance Holdings saw volume of 45.12 lakh shares, a 11.98-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 3.77 lakh shares. The stock declined 2.92% at Rs 66.60. L&T Finance Holdings said that its board of directors of the company at its meeting held today, 21 September 2015 approved a preferential allotment of equity shares and warrants to Bain Capital which will result into an infusion of Rs 707.86 crore in the company.
