ICRA clocked volume of 38,950 shares by 13:45 IST on BSE, a 15.53-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,471 shares. The stock jumped 17.5% to Rs 2,350 after hitting a record high of Rs 2,400 in intraday trade. Moody's Singapore Pte has revised upward its conditional open offer price from Rs 2,000 per share to Rs 2,400 per share for acquisition of up to 26.50 lakh equity shares from shareholders of ICRA. The announcement was made during market hours today, 28 May 2014.
Havells India notched up volume of 1.04 lakh shares, a 6.38-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.16 lakh shares. The stock fell 1.61% to Rs 950.
ABG Shipyard saw volume of 4.25 lakh shares, a 5.85-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.73 lakh shares. The stock jumped 15.97% to Rs 286.50.
Sonata Software clocked volume of 9.65 lakh shares, a 4.1-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.35 lakh shares. The stock galloped 12.15% to Rs 60.50.
Karur Vysya Bank saw volume of 1.16 lakh shares, a 3.52-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 0.29 lakh shares. The stock rose 0.58% to Rs 448.75.
