Volumes jump at Infotech Enterprises counter

Bajaj Holdings & Investment, DEN Networks, Coal India and KRBL are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 15 January 2014.

Infotech Enterprises clocked volume of 5.96 lakh shares by 14:17 IST on BSE, a 134.37-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock tumbled 6.14% at Rs 337 after 0.49% equity changed hands in two bulk deals today, 15 January 2014. A bulk deal of 2.77 lakh shares was executed on the Infotech Enterprises counter at Rs 340 per share at 10:15 IST on BSE today, 15 January 2014. Another bulk deal of 2.77 lakh shares was executed on the counter at Rs 342.50 per share at 10:15 IST on BSE today, 15 January 2014.

 

Bajaj Holdings & Investment notched up volume of 2.55 lakh shares, a 84.9-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock rose 1.48% at Rs 921.15.

DEN Networks saw volume of 5.12 lakh shares, a 7.49-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 68,000 shares. The stock rose 1.74% to Rs 155 after 0.22% equity changed hands in a bulk deal today, 15 January 2014. A bulk deal of 4 lakh shares was executed on the DEN Networks counter at Rs 153.05 per share at 09:17 IST on BSE today, 15 January 2014.

Coal India saw volume of 19.08 lakh shares, a 5.5-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 3.47 lakh shares. The stock rose 2.14% to Rs 296.10 after the company after market hours on Tuesday, 14 January 2014 said its board has approved payment of interim dividend of Rs 29 per share for the financial year ending March 2014.

KRBL clocked volume of 12.78 lakh shares, a 4.96-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.58 lakh shares. The stock surged 6.18% at Rs 40.35.
