P I Industries clocked volume of 53.35 lakh shares by 12:52 IST on BSE, a 693.82-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 8,000 shares. The stock rose 0.66% to Rs 619.35.
Essar Oil notched up volume of 20.51 lakh shares, a 4.61-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4.45 lakh shares. The stock rose 4.15% to Rs 145.65.
United Spirits saw volume of 92,000 shares, a 3.32-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 28,000 shares. The stock rose 0.59% to Rs 3,594.60.
Cairn India clocked volume of 7.18 lakh shares, a 2.06-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3.48 lakh shares. The stock rose 3.85% to Rs 187.70.
Infosys saw volume of 2.91 lakh shares, a 1.93-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 1.51 lakh shares. The stock rose 0.56% to Rs 993.90.
