Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering Company clocked volume of 23.26 lakh shares by 13:53 IST on BSE, a 19.91 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.17 lakh shares. The stock surged 5.16% at Rs 63.20 on media reports that the Russian government has chosen Pipavav Shipyard for a 'Make in India' naval frigate. According to reports, the Russian government has chosen Anil Ambani's Pipavav shipyard for a 'Make in India' naval frigate order that is likely to exceed $3 billion, making it the private sector's biggest-ever warship-building project.
Supreme Industries notched up volume of 1.23 lakh shares, a 13.37-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 9,000 shares. The stock rose 2.16% at Rs 618.

Fedders Lloyd Corporation saw volume of 7.69 lakh shares, a 8.75-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 88,000 shares. The stock jumped 14.22% at Rs 98.
