Shoppers Stop clocked volume of 5 lakh shares by 13:36 IST on BSE, a 283.03-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock surged 5.37% at Rs 338.75.
Marico notched up volume of 3.10 lakh shares, a 33.67-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 9,000 shares. The stock rose 1.34% to Rs 215.80 after a block deal of 2.99 lakh shares was executed in the counter on BSE at Rs 215 per share at 10:26 IST. The block deal constitutes 0.04% of Marico's equity.
Ashapura Minechem saw volume of 46.16 lakh shares, a 22.14-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.08 lakh shares. The stock jumped 7.35% at Rs 48.90.
Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) clocked volume of 15.39 lakh shares, a 17.4-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 88,000 shares. The stock rose 1.12% to Rs 823.50 after two block deals aggregating 9.5 lakh shares were executed in the counter on BSE. A block deal of 4.5 lakh shares was executed at Rs 817.50 per share at 9:28 IST while another block deal of 5 lakh shares was executed at Rs 825 per share at 10:05 IST. The two block deals constitute 0.06% of HDFC's equity.
Vakrangee saw volume of 26.21 lakh shares, a 8.46-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 3.10 lakh shares. The stock lost 0.06% at Rs 84.05.
