SKF India clocked volume of 62,000 shares by 13:42 IST on BSE, a 16.69-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock lost 1.46% at Rs 1,191.80.
Godrej Consumer Products notched up volume of 61,000 shares, a 5.16-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 12,000 shares. The stock rose 3.02% at Rs 1,345 after the Reserve Bank of India notified increase in the ceiling on investment by foreign portfolio investors to 40% of the company's paid-up capital from 35% earlier.
Astec Lifesciences saw volume of 3.24 lakh shares, a 4.9-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 66,000 shares. The stock rose 3.11% at Rs 248.30.
Pidilite Industries clocked volume of 2.71 lakh shares, a 3.2-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 85,000 shares. The stock rose 0.12% at Rs 566.50.
Eicher Motors saw volume of 17,000 shares, a 2.58-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 7,000 shares. The stock rose 0.26% at Rs 18,952.
