Volumes jump at Supreme Industries counter

Supreme Industries clocked volume of 2.51 lakh shares by 13:38 IST on BSE, a 35.25-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 7,000 shares. The stock rose 0.98% to Rs 354.80.

JM Financial notched up volume of 1.07 crore shares, a 10.71-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 10.05 lakh shares. The stock galloped 14.86% to Rs 27.05 after the company's board of directors approved issue of equity warrants to former Citigroup Chief Executive Vikram Pandit.

GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare saw volume of 24,000 shares, a 9.84-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock jumped 8.71% to Rs 5,200. The stock hit a record high of Rs 5,210 in the intraday trade today, 17 May 2013.

 

ABB clocked volume of 88,000 shares, a 8.3-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 11,000 shares. The stock surged 8.55% to Rs 592.20.

Oracle Financial Services saw volume of 3.81 lakh shares, a 8.01]-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 48,000 shares. The stock rose 0.9% to Rs 2,431.50.
