United Breweries clocked volume of 12.17 lakh shares by 13:55 IST on BSE, a 137.38 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.09 lakh shares. The stock rose 3.43% to Rs 684.
Tube Investments of India saw volume of 10.55 lakh shares, a 78.99 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.13 lakh shares. The stock gained 3.25% to Rs 318.
Repco Home Finance notched up volume of 4.16 lakh shares, a 59.64 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.07 lakh shares. The stock advanced 0.9% to Rs 474. The company said after market hours on Friday, 17 October 2014, that the name of the company has been removed from the ban list for investments by FII/RFPIs by the Reserve Bank of India after the ceiling for foreign investment in the company under the Portfolio Investment Scheme has been enhanced to 49%.
Hathway Cable & Datacom saw volume of 15.83 lakh shares, a 51.65 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.31 lakh shares. The stock added 1.98% to Rs 304. ON BSE, 0.97% equity changed hands on the counter in a bulk deal today, 20 October 2014.
M&M Financial Services clocked volume of 4.14 lakh shares, a 6.63 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.62 lakh shares. The stock rose 0.41% to Rs 279.50.
