Venky's (India)'s net profit jumped 94.3% to Rs 20.13 crore on 39.58% growth in net sales to Rs 306.63 crore in Q1 June 2012 over Q1 June 2011. The company announced the results during trading hours today, 9 August 2012.
Federal Bank notched up volume of 1.22 lakh shares, a 6.11-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 20,000 shares. The stock lost 1.1% to Rs 420.
Indiabulls Infrastructure and Power clocked volume of 1.53 crore shares, a 4.11-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 37.29 lakh shares. The stock was locked at 5% upper circuit at Rs 6.17, which is a record high for the counter.
