Vipul clocked volume of 61.11 lakh shares by 13:45 IST on BSE, a 177.77-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.34 lakh shares. The stock jumped 10% to Rs 38.50.
Max India notched up volume of 4.90 lakh shares, a 8.85-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.55 lakh shares. The stock rose 4.92% to Rs 407.65. As per reports a parliamentary committee has recommended a composite cap of 49% on foreign investment in insurance in a report tabled in the Rajya Sabha.
VST Tillers Tractors saw volume of 0.74 lakh shares, a 7.61-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.10 lakh shares. The stock rose 1.88% to Rs 1,373.
Info Edge (India) clocked volume of 1.45 lakh shares, a 4.28-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.34 lakh shares. The stock declined 1.68% to Rs 897.65.
SKS Microfinance saw volume of 9.35 lakh shares, a 4.01-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 2.33 lakh shares. The stock jumped 8.65% to Rs 379.15. A foreign brokerage house reportedly initiated a buy rating on the stock.
