Warren Tea jumps after decent Q2 results

Warren Tea rose 5.29% to Rs 178 at 10:29 IST on BSE after net profit rose 9.7% to Rs 14.55 crore on 33.2% increase in net sales to Rs 43.82 crore in Q2 September 2017 over Q2 September 2016.

The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 30 November 2017.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 80.11 points, or 0.24% to 33,229.46.

On the BSE, 7,710 shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 10,413 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 181.80 and a low of Rs 173.30 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 183.25 on 29 November 2017. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 100.40 on 28 September 2017.

 

Warren Tea is engaged in plantation of tea.
