Wipro Ltd fell 1.76% today to trade at Rs 368.9. The S&P BSE IT Sector index is down 0.36% to quote at 15303.74. The index is down 0.84 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, NELCO Ltd decreased 1.38% and Mphasis Ltd lost 1.35% on the day. The S&P BSE IT Sector index went up 22.56 % over last one year compared to the 6.8% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
Wipro Ltd has lost 0.66% over last one month compared to 0.84% fall in S&P BSE IT Sector index and 1.17% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 63311 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 1.95 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 396 on 25 Feb 2019.
