At least one person was killed and two others were injured in a knife attack in a Paris suburb on Thursday, police said.
Officials said the suspected assailant was neutralized during an operation in Trappes, a commune in the Yvelines department to the southwest of the French capital, Efe news reported.
"Police operation on Camille Claudel street over. Individual neutralized. Please avoid the area, respect the security perimetres to let the police do their job," the police said in a tweet.
